A delicate push brought his grey steppers onto a colorful sheet of sheer liquid. His neck twisted back towards the stormy seas now shrouded slightly with a light mist. The stone bridge which brought him stood just seconds from his pale bodice as he contemplated turning back. Though his uneasy thoughts quickly vanished as gold suns flared at the clear surroundings. A pin could drop and the entire area would ripple into perfect circles. An urge to look down at himself overcame his hesitation, though not strong enough to actually pursue, he continued to gaze wistfully at the abyssal galaxy before him. Hues of blue, yellow, orange and pink reflected up onto his milky hide and colored him with careful designs.

This sea of solitude gave him the peace he had been longing for. Its beauty far exceeded his own and he dare not disturb the painted pool too much. Pony-tailed hair fell over his chiseled features as he looked down towards his planted feet. His reflection mirrored a certain perfection he sought with himself. An expectation that displayed was near perfection, if not a completely perfect version, of himself. Though his beliefs waned when it came to the powers of the pool, he was not completely sure if his own mind had tricked him into seeing a desire of perfection.

Perfection to himself was easily achieved. Such expectations of his own appearance far succeeded his peers and he believed such about his own being. Thoughts of his reflection clouded his mind and he delved into a selfish feeling of conceit. 'Better... better than everyone else' an echo of vanity bounced around his clouded mind. Such a vain evil should have smited him down long ago, but such pride and egotism kept him from falling to a pitiful death.
